CONCEPT
Fashion is an ever-changing cycle that not only encompasses clothing but also carries a narrative reflecting the economic, political, and cultural state of society. In our project, we drew inspiration from four decades (1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s) to create four looks that depict how young people dressed in each era. We aimed to show similarities between the decades, such as the use of vibrant clothing, while also offering a contemporary reinterpretation of fashion from those periods using current wardrobe pieces.
This approach allows us to observe the changes in fashion over the years, as well as the enduring aspects, reflecting societal shifts in each moment, especially through the expressive attire of young people.
